SUBJECT : Spot Report on Shooting Incident

DATE : August 28, 2024

1. Reference: Police Blotter Entry No. 2024-01-01, page 20 dated August 28,
2024;

2. This pertains to a shooting incident that transpired on August 28, 2024 at


about 10:00 AM at Abique St, Brgy. Pag Asa, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro wherein
the victim was identified as Mario Diponggol y Paldo, 30 years old, married,
Businessman, and a resident of Abique St, Brgy. Pag Asa, San Jose Occidental
Mindoro while the suspect was identified as John Deputik y Pototoy, 21 years old,
single, tricycle driver, currently residing at Brgy. 3, San Jose Occidental Mindoro.

3. On the aforementioned date, time, and place of incident, the victim Mario
Diponggol y Paldo, was Standing in the garage of his house at Abique St, Brgy. Pag
Asa, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro having conversation with the suspect John Deputik
y Pototoy until an heated argument ensued between the suspect and the victim that
caused the suspect to shot the victim several times and fled on foot to unknown
direction after the incident bringing with him the unknown caliber of weapon used.
Victim was rushed by MDRRMO to San Jose District Hospital but was pronounced
dead on arrival by attending physician, Dr. John Michael Lumbreras at 10:05 AM of
the same day. The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds on his upper chest and
right temple. The cadaver of the victim was moved to St. Peter Funeral Homes at Rizal
St. Poblacion, San Jose Occidental Mindoro for post mortem examination. Continuous
follow-up operation and investigation is being conducted for the possible arrest of the
suspect.

4. Further pieces of evidence were found one (1) unit Glock 17 9mm pistol,
one (1) magazine loaded with 15 live ammunition, two (2) pieces of fired cartridge, six
(6) sachets of allegedly shabu, one-hundred-peso bill and blood sample. The
aforementioned incident was already encoded in CIRAS. The Investigator On Case is
PMSg Felix B Laude with contact number 09090909123.
