Components of a Bug Report


Title: Clear and concise summary of the issue.

Description: Detailed explanation of the issue.

● Steps to reproduce.
● Expected result.
● Actual result.

Environment: Information about the environment where the bug was found.

● Device/OS.
● Browser/Version.
● App version.

Attachments: Screenshots, videos, logs, etc.

Severity/Priority: Impact of the bug on the functionality.

Differentiating Between Frontend and Backend Issues

● Frontend Issues:
○ Symptoms: UI/UX problems, browser-specific issues, responsiveness.
● Backend Issues:
○ Symptoms: Data not saving/loading correctly, API failures.

Description:
