Introduction

► We are developing hospital management system.


► Our project basically made for a hospital system.
► It is a online system where patients able to view our hospital information, our hospital doctors information,
view profile, update his profile information, change his login password, register, book appointments, view
available doctors time scheduling and cancel his booking appointment.
► We mainly focus on this web application that patient allow to book their appointment online and if they need
any accessories of book appointment they can easily book appointment from this web site.
► The system will add on the new features as validation form to tell the users key in the correct value. This
system will keep records for the users, doctors and admin information. So that, the administrator can manage
user’s reservation lists easily.
Problem Statement

► Issues with regular statement.


► The data is extremely hard to recover and to discover specific data like- E.g.- To get some
answers concerning the patient's set of experiences, the client needs to experience
different registers.
► The data produced by different exchanges requires some serious energy and endeavors to
be put away at correct spot.
► Different changes to data like patient subtleties or inoculation subtleties of kid are hard to
make as desk work is include.
► Planning of exact and brief reports: - This turns into a troublesome errand as information
is hard to gather from different registers.
Contribution

► Hospital management system permits us the capacity to advance and digitize all the cycles inside
the organization, which will assist with improving client care, diminish measure costs, smooth out
the hunt of clinical records, charges, patients, specialists, and so on; along these lines, having an
information base of every module executed.

► Hospital management system is a web framework created for organizations that wish to deal with
their cycles, actualizing modules for every one of the necessary zones. It is fundamental to
specify that the data is constrained via prepared faculty. PC innovation is just an instrument that
permits us to consummate the ingrained utilization of paper records (journals, file cards, journals,
lists of sources, record books), or all the more as of late, tapes or video tapes. A PC just gathers
and cycles information; the individual secures data.
Motivation

► In present people can book a appointment through online in a hospital so we highly think
that why not we make a site like healthcare system where can people book a appointment
in online and also they can able to see our hospital information from our web application.
► The interesting part of this project that customers can book appointment and many people
wants to book appointment on online because it can save their valuable time and cost, they
can do it from our site and fulfill their wish.
► In our system have some possibility to improve solutions that we can convert this web
application into android or IOS app where peoples can easily access out site.
Proposed System

► Patients can view available doctors time scheduling.


► Book appointment.
► Patients can able to cancel his booking appointment.
► Doctors can view his all appointments list.
► Doctor can also able to cancel his appointment.
► Admin can control our system. He can manage user’s reservation lists easily and also see all patient and all
doctor information. He can able to delete any information.
► Admin can add a new doctor in our site and he can set doctor available time scheduling.

Limitation

► Our Hospital Management System has no online payment system.


► It can’t provide any prescription.
► It can’t provide test reports.
► Our system has no Blood bank facilities.
► Our system has no Medical Transport services.
► In spite of popularity, there still resides an element of doubt in the mind of people when it comes to Hospital Management System.
This is because the customer cannot physically examine the HMS and is not sure about the features and attributes.
► HMS requires advanced technology platforms for better performance. Some limitations, such as lack of proper domain, network and
software issues and so on can affect the seamless performance of an HMS site.
► A lot of money needs to be invested to be built up the technical infrastructure needed to run an Hospital Management System.
Moreover, they need to be upgraded based to keep abreast with the changing technology.
Future Works

❖ The rising of HMS has added a new dimension in the total scheme of medical ensuring smarter and faster service in
concerned sectors.
❖ The prime objective of HMS is to establish a user-friendly, trust-worthy, effective and efficient approach of providing
internet centered medical transactions.
❖ Add payment system and add master card and visa card system.
❖ For future , it’ll provide prescription doctor to patient.
❖ It also can provide test reports.
❖ Add blood bank services to our system.
❖ Also add Medical Transport services.
❖ It also provides injection details and billing facility on the basis of patient’s status whether it is an indoor or outdoor
patient.
❖ The system also can provides the facility of backup as per the requirement.
Conclusion

We’re Working on this Hospital Management System project has exposed our project group to a variety of technologies and
taught us many lessons that have applicability far beyond the process of simply making hospital management system. Since
we are entering details of the patients electronically in the” Hospital Management System”, our HMS data will be secured.
Using this application any user can easily use it and easily booking his appointment, it can save his important time. If , he
can’t able to take a appointment on online he must be come to our hospital ,use this he can easily take appointment and can
see our specialized doctor information. Thus processing information will be faster. It guarantees accurate maintenance of
Patient details. It easily reduces the book keeping task and thus reduces the human effort and increases accuracy speed. We
think it is helpful for general people of all categories. We try to fulfill all necessary requirement. This website is not totally
dynamic but it is extendable. If the website needs to extend then we must have to work little on the database. So, we have the
demand to develop a website that considers all the issues. Keeping all these things in mind we have tried our best to build a
website which is secure, dynamic, extendable and reusable. There still have the opportunity to add other features that are not
mentioned here.
