1) Applications are invited from the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria from NEET
UG-2024 for admission into Under Graduate Homoeopathy & Ayurvedic Courses under
Management Quota seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority BHMS & BAMS Colleges
affiliated to Dr. NTR UHS for the academic year 2024-25.

Regulations: –
1. Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.
2. The fee can be paid through Debit card/Credit card or Net Banking.
All the above dates are tentative and the University reserves the right to change them
without assigning any reason or advance notice.

Important Note: - NCISM, New Delhi, Ministry of Ayush has notified that, there
shall not be any offline admission or admission without counselling
(Central/State/UT) and any admissions in contravention of this shall not be
approved. Hence, all admissions under Management will be conducted by Dr. NTR
UHS, Vijayawada only.

3) The candidates are directed to follow the details /procedure as per the respective Prospectus.
State Merit position of the eligible candidates applied for will be prepared basing on the
NEET UG – 2024 score & Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder, Scrutiny of
uploaded data shall be done by the University and concerned Departmental Officials. After
scrutiny of certificates, provisional merit list will be released.
4) Final merit position will be released later, after obtaining grievances if any from the
candidates.

5) Eligibility:
1. Minimum Age: -
a) Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on the
31st December 2024.
b) Candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31.12.2024 are
not eligible.
c) Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as Indicated
in the Board of Secondary School Certificate Examination
(SSC) or Equivalent Examination.
d) No upper age limit.

6) Educational qualification:
FOR ADMISSION INTO BAMS & BHMS COURSES:
Passing marks for eligibility in admission to ASU&H-UG courses should be as per the
ASU&H-UG regulations and should be followed strictly. The details of qualifications for
different categories are as follows:
a) For Ayurveda – BAMS: - Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks
taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the 10+2 or equivalent examination
in the case of General category and 40% Marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes,
Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
b) For Homeopathy – BHMS: - Candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50%
marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology at the 10+2 or
equivalent examination in the case of general category and 40% Marks in the case of
the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.

c) In respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying
examination are as follows: a) In Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case
of General Category. b) 40% in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and
Other Backward Classes. (for PWD candidates only).
d) *Lower percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and
will not be applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these
categories. Caste certificate issued by other state Governments will be considered
for determining their eligibility for cut-off scores.

7) Procedure of filling online application form and payment of fee through online:
a. The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.
b. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.
c. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully regarding eligibility
under local and non-local.
d. Visit website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.

 e. The Registration number which will be sent to the registered mobile after entering
the basic details, should be noted for further use. The Registration number should
be kept confidential and should not be disclosed to others.
f. Fill - in all the correct details in the online application form and upload all the
documents including the certificates which are mandatory.
g. The following Certificates are required to complete the online application process.

8) Instructions to the candidates: -

1. As per the Notice, dated 17.10.2024 notified by the AACCC, Ministry of AYUSH,
the candidates admitted under Round (1) & (2) and allotted under Round (3) of
All India Quota seats are not allowed to participate in state counselling for
admission to UG courses for the academic year 2024-25. Therefore, any such
candidates found in the “List of In-eligible candidates for All AYUSH counselling
(Central/State/UT/Central Pool Quota) shall not apply under Dr. NTR UHS.,
Vijayawada for the academic year 2024-25.

2. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course and
instructions for filling Online Application available in the University Website
https://drntr.uhsap.in before filling the online Application.

3. The process of admissions into BHMS/BAMS Courses will be in accordance with the
Orders issued by Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O. Ms. No.131 HM&FW (R2)
Dept., dt:25.04.2008 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.8, HM & FW(F2) Dept., dt.29.01.2021
and any other orders issued from time to time.

4. The candidates should register and upload all the mandatory certificates without fail and
verify once again before submission of online application.

5. Candidate admission is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to
him/her does not imply that his/her candidature is accepted by the University and it does
not mean that the entries made by him/her in the online application are accepted as true
and correct. An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make him/her
eligible for admission.

 6. If the information furnished by candidate in the application is incorrect, his/her
candidature is Liable to be cancelled and further action that deems fit will be taken. If the
certificates produced by any candidate are found to be fake / false/forged at any stage of
verification or admission, the University has every right to cancel the seat / admission of
such candidate without any notice. In case of discrepancy in the downloaded provisional
verification form, the same shall be brought to the notice of the University immediately.

7. Any orders that may be issued from time to time by University, Govt. of A.P./Ministry of
AYUSH/NCISM/NCH, New Delhi with regard to Admissions will be applicable to this
course.

8. Subsequent notifications with regard to web counseling will be notified on the

University website only. Please visit the university website https://drntr.uhsap.in
regularly for subsequent notifications/ instructions till the completion of
admission process. No individual instructions will be sent.
