TUGS 4 x 80T ASD. Escort tug fast aft, tugs 2&3 to escort vessel in over,
tug 1 stand by at channel entrance.

EXERCISE INFORMATION

LNG vessel, inbound at Pilot Boarding Station.

Passage from Pilot Boarding Area to approach channel, transit flare and reduce
ships speed once passed buoy 3&4 to 5kts.

OBJECTIVE

Vessel to transit Congo River approaches, escort tug to be made fast before
entering Soyo approach channel.

Escort tug to assist vessel whilst transiting flare and reducing ships speed once
passed buoys 3&4.
