On Fixed Point Results with Enriched Mappings

The study of fixed point theorems is a fundamental topic in functional analysis. Fixed point
theorems play a pivotal role in various applications, including optimization, differential
equations, and economic modeling. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in
extending the concept of contractions to enriched contractions and non-expansive mappings,
which provide a more flexible framework for establishing fixed point results.

i. Problem Statement:

The study of fixed point theorems has been a central topic in mathematics and functional
analysis, with applications ranging from optimization to differential equations. While
conventional contraction mappings have provided valuable tools for solving fixed point
problems, there is a growing need to extend the theory to encompass more general and flexible
frameworks. Enriched mappings like Kannan, Chatterjea, Ciric-Reich-Rus, non-expansive, as
a recent development offer an avenue for advancing fixed point theory. The aim is to establish
new fixed point results by generalizing enriched mappings, exploring their properties and
applicability, and implications in diverse mathematical contexts.

ii. Research Methods:

The research will be conducted systematically, encompassing key stages. It starts with a
comprehensive literature review to assess the current state of fixed point theorems, enriched
contractions, and identifies areas for advancements. The subsequent phase involves theoretical
development, creating proofs and constructs for enriched contraction-based theorems.
Convergence analysis will rigorously scrutinize iterative methods based on enriched
contractions and non-expansive mappings emphasizing convergence, apply enriched mappings
to specific mathematical models and problems, showcasing their practical utility and
highlighting instances where they outperform traditional mapping techniques.

iii. Expected Outcomes:

The anticipated outcomes of this research encompass the development of a solid theoretical
framework for understanding fixed points. This framework will not only provide a foundation
for theoretical studies but also offer valuable insights into the properties and behavior of fixed
points in this specific context. Moreover, this research aims to bridge the gap between theory
and practice by identifying and showcasing real-world applications that highlight the practical
relevance of these fixed points.
