SUMMARY:
Authors must strictly respect and comply with Ingeniare's publication standards and format. To
this end, it is recommended that the author follow these instructions as a model for the
submission of his/her article, respecting the fonts, spacing, margins and other formatting

author has done, 2) how he/she did it (only if it is important to detail it), 3) the main results, 4)
the relevance of the results. The abstract is an abbreviated but comprehensive representation
of the article and should report the objective, methodology and results of the work described.
Following the abstract, its translation into English should be included, headed by the word
abstract. IMPORTANT: It should be written in the third person (This paper describes...,
presents..., evaluates..., used, ... etc.).
Keywords: P keyword 1, p keyword 2, keyword 3.

be within the engineering field: electronics, electrical, computing, mechanics, industry,
metallurgy, chemistry, engineering education and related disciplines.
Authors should send a cover letter indicating that the article submitted to Ingeniare has not
been submitted to another publication. They should specify that it is a previously unpublished
work and that all authors agree with the content and with ceding the publication rights to
Ingeniare. Revista chilena de ingeniería.
- The INTRODUCTION should orient the reader with respect to the problem presented and
include: the nature of the problem, the background or previous work, the purpose or relevant
motivation of the article. It should be developed in a maximum of one and a half pages.
- The body shall contain, in detail, the fundamental information of the article. It should also
consider the objective of the information presented, which should be delivered in a clear and

referred to in the text. Make sure that the number is unique in the document. Figures and
photographs should be clear and have an explanatory legend at the bottom. Figure 1, equation
(1), Table 1, Figure 2, equation (2), etc.
- Figures: must be in the body of the text, inserted in png or jpg format and centered. Images
must be in line with the text. The following are considered images: graphs, tables, photographs,
diagrams and, in some cases, tables and equations.
