Job Description : Front Sales Person

Location : XYZ

Reporting Manager : Regional / Zonal Sales Manager

Position Overview:

As a Front Sales Person in the Connectwell Industries, India, you will be responsible for driving sales
growth and establishing strong relationships with customers. Your role will involve promoting and
selling Connectwell range of products (Terminal Blocks, Interface modules, SMPS & Cable
management system) to Panel Builders, OEMs, Channel Partners, institutions and end user
organizations within the assigned territory. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of
the products, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to effectively negotiate and close
sales deals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Generation: Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve or exceed sales
targets. Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads, expand customer base, and
increase market share in the electrical switchgear industry.

2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and
potential customers. Understand their needs, provide technical advice and support, and ensure
exceptional customer service at all times. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering solutions
that meet their requirements.

3. Product Promotion: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Connectwell products and effectively


communicate their features, benefits, and competitive advantages to customers. Conduct product
presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to create awareness and generate interest.

4. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market
dynamics. Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and emerging
customer needs. Analyze market data to develop effective sales strategies and adjust tactics as
required.

5. Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closure. This
includes preparing and delivering sales proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, addressing
customer queries and concerns, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely product
delivery.
6. Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer
interactions, and sales pipelines using CRM software. Prepare regular sales reports, including
forecasts, market analysis, and sales performance metrics, for management review.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, technical support, and
operations to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies. Provide feedback from the field to
contribute to product development, marketing campaigns, and customer service improvement
initiatives.

8. Industry Events and Networking: Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and
conferences. Network with industry professionals, potential customers, and key decision-makers to
build relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree/Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the electrical switchgear industry or a related field.

- Strong technical knowledge of electrical products and their applications.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at various levels.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.

- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
