The Order of Adoption will involve :

A. Cancellation of the simulated BC


B. Issuance of Rectified Birth, using the true facts of birth of the child.
C. Issuance of a new/ amended BC

COVERAGE

A.) Administrative adoption of a non-relative child;

B.) Administrative adoption of a relative child within the fourth (4th) degree of affinity or consanguinity;

C.) Administrative adoption of an adult, who has been consistently considered and treated as daughter or son since birth
or minority;

D.) Administrative adoption where the Petition for Cancellation of Simulated Birth Certificate or Petition for Adoption with
Cancellation of Simulated Birth Certificate is

pending in court;

E.) Other analogous circumstances as may be determined by the Secretary;

EXCLUDED

A.) Rectification or Correction of entries

B.) Administrative adoption by the relatives of the deceased person(s) who simulatedthe birth of a child or an adult
adoptee

C.) Administrative adoption by person(s) other than the parent(s) named in the simulated birth certificate

D.) Administrative adoption of a child by the purported father ONLY; when the mother named in the birth certificate is the
biological mother of such child.

E.) Administrative adoption of a child or person who has a registered original Certificate of Live Birth or Certificate of
Foundling

DURATION OF PLACEMENT

1. Emergency Foster Care - under immediate substitute parental care.


2. Short Term Placement - six (6) months or less as assessed by the social worker.
3. Long Term Placement- at least 7 year which may be due to various reasons.

WHO ARE THE CHILDREN ELIGIBLE FOR FOSTER PLACEMENT?

Article II, Eligibility Sec. 4

Children from infancy to below 18 years of age, or one who is over 18 but is unable tofully take care of or protect
oneself who are under any of the following circumstances:

Under the custody of DSWD or any child placement agency and are not yet legallyfree for adoption, but need
individual attention in a family setting;

A child whose family members are temporarily or permanently unable or unwillingly to provide the child with
adequate care;

Awaiting for adoptive placement;

Who need special care and protection as assessed by a social worker due to

sexual or physical abuse;

With developmental or physical disabilities.
