Learning objectives The goal of the course Calculus, Modular arithmetic and Linear Algebra
(24BMATS101) is to
1. Familiarize the importance of calculus associated with one variable and
multi variable for computer science and engineering.
2. Analyze computer science and engineering problems
Applying Ordinary Differential Equations.
3. Apply the knowledge of modular arithmetic to computer
algorithms.
4. Develop the knowledge of Linear Algebra to solve the system of
equations.

Course Outcomes:
On the successful completion of the course, the student will be able to

Compute the radius of curvature and apply the concept of partial differentiation to

Analyse the solution of linear and non-linear ordinary differential equations and Solve
CO2 problems of linear congruence’s with application to cryptography.

Develop familiarity with modern mathematical tools namely SCILAB/PYTHON/MATLAB
CO4 and stimulates creative problem solving through experiential learning.
