1. Approved Tow Point NB: Leave toe-hitch at home. Leave pin in.
2. Operation of head lights

4. Battery to be secured (bracket over top and bolted)

6. Front /Rear screen with car no. in fluro yellow on contrasting back 12 cm high
7. Sponsors stickers
8. Seat belts for driver and all passengers – LAP/SASH MINIMUM
9. Fire extinguisher to be fitted in cabin
10. First aid kit – to Variety standard
11. Cargo barrier - station wagons
12. Loose items in the cabin secured
13. Fitted UHF radio (must be in good working order) with external antenna. Not handheld
14. Speedo/trip meter (must be working)
15. Windscreen (laminated)
16. Operation of Wipers/Washers
17. Operation of Horn
18. Safety triangle & 2 hi visibility jackets
REAR/BOOT
19. Rear dust light to be mounted high (on roof rack if possible)
20. Two spare tyres (inflated)
21. Extra fuel (tank or jerry can) - Approved container or installation
