II. SIGNIFICANCE

The Barangay will celebrate upcoming “Linggo ng Kabataan” and initiate fun activities and programs
which falls on August 17, 2024.This activity was set by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) which urge the
respective youths and viewers to attend.

III. OBJECTIVE

To empower and engage the youth in meaningful community activities, fostering leadership, social
responsibility, and active participation in nation-building. Through a series of educational, cultural, and
social events, Linggo ng Kabataan aims to provide a platform for the youth to voice their ideas, develop
their skills, and contribute to the overall development of their communities.

IV. RATIONALE

Linggo ng Kabataan is a critical initiative that highlights the role of the youth in shaping the future. By
involving them in community activities, the program nurtures a sense of responsibility and belonging,
encouraging young individuals to become proactive citizens. It also provides an opportunity to address
youth-related issues, promote cultural awareness, and strengthen the relationship between the youth
and their communities, ultimately contributing to sustainable development and social cohesion.
