Week 17 Ancient Wonders

 Target: By the end of this period, the students will be able to:

1. Talk about the Ancient Wonders:


- What are the Ancient Wonders of the World?
-Some things that they would see and why they are Ancient
Wonders.

 Warm-up & Review:

1. Ask the students to practice the key words from last weeks lesson,
Going to a concert.

 Vocabulary: remarkable, Ancient Wonder,structure,


civilisations, construct, constructions, classical facade, rose
coloured, icon, Christianity, temple city, sports stadium,
gladiators. gory

 Understanding the key words:

I. Ask and Answer with Teacher


II. Think, pair, and share with each other and the class.
III. Review the keywords, phrases and reveal translations at the end.

 Building the language:


Ⅰ Talk about the ancient Wonders of the World.
Which ones they would like to visit. Which ones they liked the most?
 Developing the mind:
Ⅰ Discussion questions about Ancient Wonder of the World.
 Project assignment:
Students do a written report the Ancient Wonders of the World.
