Do you know Taylor?

This is Taylor Clarkson. She works as a nurse at St. Thomas Hospital


in London. She’s thirty-two years old.
Taylor usually wakes up at 7:30 a.m. She gets dressed and goes to
the hospital. She starts her morning shift* at nine. She checks all her
patients* and sees if they are OK. Sometimes she has important
surgeries, so she needs to stay in the O.R.* for some hours. Her
boyfriend, Jerry, is a doctor and he works with her at the same
hospital.
Her shift finishes at five p.m., and she goes home by car. When Taylor gets home, at the end of the
day, she is usually very tired. She loves lying down* on the sofa in the living room and watching
TV.
On her day off*, Taylor likes going to the park with her dog Jumbo. She also enjoys riding her bike
and she is learning how to play padel.
On Fridays, Taylor always goes out with her friend Kim. She’s a Spanish teacher and she’s Taylor’s
best friend. Kim has got a daughter, Luna. Taylor loves playing games with her.
