Two-way factor authenticator Documentation (MFA)

Hi, All Flairstech Family,

1- Please download one app from the below apps to do the 2-way factor authentication upon your
mobile device operating system:-
a. Google Authenticator (Android)
b. Microsoft Authenticator (Android).
c. Google Authenticator (IOS).
d. Microsoft Authenticator (IOS).

2- After enabling the MFA all Microsoft apps will sign out automatically please sign in again and follow
the below steps after entering your password

3- Click “Next” to start the 2-way factor creation steps.


4- If you use “Microsoft authenticator” click “Next”.
If you use Google Authenticator, click on “I want to use a different authenticator app”

5- Prompt push notifications to allow the notifications.


6- Click “Next”, after promoting notifications on the authenticator.
Number 3 in the picture below will be used in the future to use the mobile number if your authenticator
app is deleted or changed on your mobile device.
7- Open the downloaded authenticator app that you installed before.
8- Click on the “Add +” button.

9- Click on Scan a QR code with your mobile camera – or enter a setup key if you have a camera
issue with your mobile phone. (Scan a QR code is recommended).

10- Scan the QR code.


If you can’t scan, click on “can’t scan image?” to get a security key and enter it manually.
11- Click next after scanning the QR code.

12- You will get the code on the authenticator app. Formed from 6 digits.
13- Enter the code from the authenticator app in the text box.
14- Click next.
15- Now the authenticator app is working fine.
16- Now we will enter an alternative method to use the 2-way factor authenticator.
- The mobile number will not be shown in Teams contact details.

17- Choose the country and enter your mobile number.

18- Click next.


19- It will send you a verification code to your WhatsApp or SMS.
20- Enter the code that you received.

21- Now your two-factor authenticator is added successfully.

22- Click next then done.

• If the Outlook app gets stuck, please close it from the task manager. If still not synced
wait 5 mins and restart the laptop.

• On the Teams application please sign out then close the app from the task manager and
check that it’s not opened in the start bar. Then re-sign in using the multifactor
authenticator.

• If you faced any issues while entering the mobile number or if you found that you have
one already and it needs to be changed, please contact us through the Freshdesk
Ticketing System or pass by the office.
