This course is designed to help students gain an understanding of the
basics of DC and AC circuits. Students will learn to apply network
analysis theorems & techniques to analyze and even design electrical
and electronic circuits. The introduction of PN junction devices
including diodes and transistors helps develop a basic understanding
of the working of analog & digital electronic circuits. Students will also
get a chance to learn about digital logic families along with Boolean

This is an introductory course on Programming Fundamentals. Its aim

is to introduce basic concepts of Programming using Python. At the
end of this course, it is expected that students will have a reasonably
good theoretical as well as a practical foundation in Python. Students
will solve problems by developing simple algorithms and then

implement them using a Python programming language. The Lab

component complements the theory by practicing the concept using
Python. Students will understand that Python is an interpreted,
object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic
semantics. Its high-level built-in data structures, combined with
dynamic typing and dynamic binding, make it very attractive for Rapid
Application Development, as well as for use as a scripting or glue
language to connect existing components together. Students will
