Good afternoon everyone,

My name is Doyun

And my name is Doyeong

We’re members of team Double D, and we’re here today because we genuinely believe in a
cleaner, more sustainable future for Ho Chi Minh City.

Our project, Plastic’s Decline, A Future So Fine, is about more than just picking up trash—it’s
about creating a movement that empowers people to take responsibility for the spaces we
share. (&도영)

What is our project about anyways? We're not an established organization with big funding or
corporate backing. We're just students who are tired of seeing our shores (&도윤) and streets
(&도윤) covered in plastic and want to do something real about it. We’re starting with the
international school community because it's a place we know we can make an impact, and
we’re planning to scale up from there.(&도윤)

Now, you might be wondering, how feasible is it for a group of students to tackle something as
big as plastic waste? We’ve thought a lot about this. Starting small, with cleanups in
communities we’re connected to, makes it possible to organize quickly and build
momentum(모멘텀+인터네셔널 사진 둘다 한번에 나옴&도영). By reaching out to international
students interested in making a change, we can connect much more easily as we are
international students ourselves. Additionally, we don’t need a lot of resources—just people
willing to get their hands a little dirty and make a difference. (2번 누르기 &도영) The structure is
simple: gather volunteers(&도영), grab some trash bags and gloves (&도영), and just get
started!

The low cost and straightforward setup make this project sustainable and easy to replicate, so
as we gain traction, we can keep expanding.

But picking up trash is just one piece of it. We’re also documenting (2번 누르기&도영) our work
through (& 인스타 계정 도영) videos and blog posts to reach a wider audience. By sharing our
experiences, challenges, and successes, we hope to inspire others to care about our project

people think about plastic waste in their daily lives. If we can get even a few families, schools, or
businesses to reconsider their plastic use, we’ve already made progress. And long-term? We’d
love to work with local businesses and other organizations with similar causes to find better
ways to manage and reduce waste city-wide.

This isn’t a one-off event. We’re committed to seeing this through over the long haul. We’re not

reducing plastic. We know that real change takes time, and we’re prepared to stick with this,

year plan, showing how we will increase awareness and build a bigger community for our

To make this project thrive, we need more than just good intentions—we need partnerships,
