"pixelated procrastination" and hindering
their ability to focus on studies. This
constant struggle, "the digital tug of
war," disrupts concentration and derails
productivity.

Our research also identified the


potential for improvement through "the
reclaimed focus." By implementing
strategies to manage notifications,
silence distractions, and create focused
study environments, students can
reclaim control over their attention and
achieve better academic results. We
recommend a multi-pronged approach
that incorporates workshops on time
management and digital detox
techniques. Additionally, exploring the
use of focus apps and creating phone-
free study zones within the school could
be beneficial. By addressing "pixelated
procrastination" and empowering
students to win the "digital tug of war,"
we can pave the way for a more focused
learning environment and improved
academic performance for the Grade 11
Brigette students at Saint Peter
Academy.
