SUBJECT : Spot Report on Rape Incident

DATE : January 1, 2024

1. Reference: Blotter Entry Number 2023-12-00123.

2. This pertains to the rape incident that transpired on December 31, 2023 at
about 9:00 in the evening at Brgy.Lazareto, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro wherein the
victim was identified as Leah Garcia y Sanchez, female, 22 years old, 4th year college
criminology student and a resident of Brgy. Lazareto, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro
while the suspect was identified as Juan Dela Cruz, of legal age and a resident of the
same place.

3. Investigation disclosed that, on December 31, 2023 at about 11:00 PM, the
victim appeared before this office and claimed that at about 9:00 PM of the same date,
while she was sleeping in her room, the suspect forcibly undressed her and took off her
underwear and then and there forcibly raped her.

4. This office requested for Medico-Legal Examination of the victim at the


Municipal Heath Office of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

5. Further, this office is still conducting hot-pursuit police operation and


investigation for possible apprehension of the suspect and filling of appropriate case.
