Steuler takes into account the specific requirements of the customer at every step of the
manufacturing process: From the steelwork including pre-treatment to rubber lining or
interior coating with subsequent acid proof brick lining and exterior paintwork to safely
transporting the finished unit to the site. Everything from a single source and perfectly
coordinated. This also applies to the manufacture of turnkey components including
pipework made from thermoplastics, glass-fibre reinforced plastics or stainless steel, and
the production of spray nozzles made from thermoplastics, glass-fibre reinforced plastics,
stainless steel, titanium or ceramics. The same is true for fittings made from stainless
steel, plastic, ceramics, titanium or cast iron as well as external insulation and heat shields.

TAILORED TO REQUIREMENTS

Certain operating environments require that the sealing layer is additionally protected against thermal
or mechanical loads. We always select the brick lining materials suitable for the project in question.
Depending on the expected chemical and thermal load, we use acid-resistant ceramic bricks,
carbon bricks, graphite bricks, nitride-bonded SiC bricks, furan resin based bricks or refractory
grades. Steuler manufactures bricks in standard as well as special formats according to customer
requirements in various material grades at our own workshop. We also develop and manufacture the
critical mortars and jointing materials based on synthetic resins and water glass cements ourselves.

EFFICIENT USE OF TECHNOLOGY

Steuler‘s QuickFit technology eliminates the need to install the linings on the project site. Instead,
this is all done under optimal conditions at the Steuler workshop, where the humidity, temperature
and drying conditions during application can be controlled and monitored. Another advantage is that
at our factories we have a comprehensive range of installation aids and unique special tools at our
disposal. This reduces overall costs and the need for elaborate weather protection measures, not to
mention travel and accommodation expenses, is minimised too.
