The Software

The two main simulator


software’s are X Plane 12
(XP12), and Microsoft Flight
Simulator (MSFS).

So, Which One Is Better?


Well, it’s actually more of a
personal preference. X Plane
has better Flight Dynamics
and allows more
customization for developers
(like RealSimGear).
Whereas MSFS has better
graphics, but is considered
more of a game.

GNS430
If you’ve already started your
flight training, you know every
airplane you jump in has a
GPS installed in the aircraft.
You also know that learning
the ins and outs of the GPS GTN650
can take time out of several
lessons. So getting something
like a GNS430 or the newer
GTN650 will save you time and
money on your training.

Audio Panels
Being able to swap between the
different comm’ frequencies to
communicate to ATC
completely changes the realism
and experience of sim-ming.
