AP EAMCET 2025 was conducted in multiple sessions based on the same syllabus and same pattern. T herefore, there is a possibility of variation in the
difficulty level of questions. AP EAMCET normalization is done to rule out any such variations in the difficulty level of various sessions
T he normalization process of AP EAMCET is implemented based on a simple formula, which has been adopted on the recommendation of experts from
reputed educational institutions at all Indian levels and Universities. AP EAMCET normalization formula can be seen below.
(GMS) + [(T op Average Global - GMS)/(T op Average Session - SMS)] x (Marks Obtained by Candidate - SMS)
where
SMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to
GMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together
T op Average Session: Average marks of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to
T op Average Global: Average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all sessions together
Basically, the aim of AP EAMCET 2025 normalization will be to justify the candidates who g ot a di cult paper compared to an easier paper. In AP EAMCET normalization
process, the marks of the harder paper may increase marg inally and the marks of the easier session may be reduced marg inally based on the averag e performance in
each session.
75% of AP EAMCET normalized marks and 25% of Class 12 marks is considered for admission.
Candidates having qualifying marks in AP EAMCET 2025, if post normalization, the marks in any individual subject(s) become negative, then the normalized
mark(s) in the respective subject(s) are treated as zero. However, total marks in three subjects are considered AS EAPCET marks
For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut-off in AP EAPCET 2025 if the marks in all three subjects after normalisation go below zero
(negative), the total marks are treated as zero and the rank is assigned. If the tie persists then AP EAPCET 2025 normalization marks (though negative
are considered to break the tie
