Video Editing/Making Intern Assignment

Welcome! We're excited to see your creativity in action. As part of the assignment, you’ll be
creating two videos that showcase your skills in educational content creation for the trading
space. Please review the guidelines below and bring your unique style and expertise to each
task. This is an open-ended assignment that will require some research and creativity.

Task 1: Create a 1-Minute Short-Form Video

● Topic: “Doji Candles: What They Tell You About Market Sentiment”
● Format: YouTube Shorts or Instagram Reels style
● Language: English
● Requirements:
○ Include clear, engaging graphics that help viewers understand the Doji candle
pattern.
○ Use voiceover to explain what Doji candles are and what they indicate about
market sentiment.
○ Keep the explanation concise and accessible, targeting both beginner and
intermediate traders.
○ Reference Style: Example YouTube Short
● Objective: Show your ability to simplify complex trading concepts in an engaging,
short-form format.

Task 2: Create a 2-Minute Educational Video

● Topic: “How to Recognize and Trade Rising and Falling Three Methods”
● Format: Standard YouTube educational video style
● Language: English
● Requirements:
○ Create a clear and structured explanation of the Rising and Falling Three
Methods patterns.
○ Use voiceover to guide viewers, offering practical tips on identifying and
trading these patterns.
○ Include relevant graphics and examples that make the patterns easy to
understand and recognize.
○ Reference Style: Example Educational Video
● Objective: Demonstrate your ability to create a longer-form educational video that
provides depth and actionable insights.

Submission Instructions

● Export the videos in high-definition (1080p) format.


● Submit the videos via email to mitaanshu@tickerscan.com with the subject line
“Video Assignment Submission.”
● Include a brief description of the tools and techniques used, as well as any creative
choices you made to enhance the content.
Guidelines for Both Tasks

1. Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop (or equivalent).
2. Graphics: Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for any design elements.
3. Voiceover: Ensure clarity and engagement; explain concepts in a way that appeals
to our audience of traders.
4. Quality: Ensure high-quality visuals, clean audio, and a well-paced structure.
