Review of Literature:

1. The software appears to be DOS-based. Tally lacks all of the Common UI

(User Interface) characteristics found in all contemporary software, which is
defined as software that is less than 20 years old. Nothing, not even drop-
down menus or appropriate windows.
2. No Copy Paste – The software does not support copy pasting. WTF… Copy-
paste was available in DOS. It is necessary to manually enter the path link
to the file repository. Regular Guys This is very sad. The ‘open file’ feature is
not functional.

3.The UI and Layout are terrible. I’ve seen open-source software that looks
better.
4.Value for the money: 0 Even if it were supplied for free, I wouldn't even attempt
to download it.
5.The display of ledgers is not properly segmented. Imagine that you are creating
a sales invoice and, throughout the process of choosing your customers, clients,
or other types of debtors, all the other entities and ledgers, including those of your
suppliers and purported Sundry Creditors, are shoved in your face. (I'm curious
who came up with these terms.)
6. The mouse is not very useful. To do anything, you must repeatedly press the
Enter key. For instance, if you are inputting a voucher and you choose the ledger
to which the voucher belongs, you are given the option to update the
Suppliers'/Customers' Name, Address, and other Information. No matter what you
do, you have to repeatedly hit the Enter key to get that annoying window out of the
way.
7. Editorial Insanity: There is no Undo when changing a list or other object; what
has been done is done. and when you have to choose from a variety of options. If
you want to search for one item out of a hundred, you must utilise the no-scroll
option and type the first few letters.
8. There is a big list. If the answer sparks any interest, I'll add more.

Finally, the only reason we purchased this was because it was the only programme
that the accounting professionals were familiar with. We weren't prepared for the
potential delays brought on by learning another software.
