How is CMAT Merit List 2019 Calculated?

CMAT merit list has been calculated based on the total


score. The scores are determined in the f ollowing way.

For correct answer, candidates scored 4 marks.


For incorrect answer, -1 mark was deducted.

No mark was assigned f or unattempted question.

Total marks have been calculated out of 400 marks.

CMAT Merit List 2019 – Calculation of Percentile


NTA score (percentile) indicates the percentage of
candidates who have scored equal to or below (same or
lower raw marks) candidates. The percentile has been
calculated using the f ollowing f ormula.

with raw marks EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate /
Total number of the candidates appeared

While determining the merit list, the examination authority


has adopted the tie-breaking policy wherein the
candidates have secured same score/marks. The ties
have been resolved in the f ollowing manner.
