different practical feedback amplifier circuits.

1. Explain the need of a cascading amplifier. Draw and Explain the block diagram of two stage cascade
amplifier. Explain its advantages.

2. Draw and Explain the block diagram of multistage cascaded amplifier.

3. For the Darlington connection, derive an expression for current gain, input impedance, voltage gain
and output impedance. Also write the characteristic of Darlington emitter follower.

4. Draw the feedback amplifier block diagram. Identify each block and explain its function.

5. What are the general characteristics of negative feedback amplifier. Write the advantage and
disadvantage of negative feedback amplifier.

6. With the help of neat diagram, explain the features of each feedback amplifier.

Analysis and design of JFET (only common source configuration with fixed bias) and MOSFET
amplifiers.

1. Difference between JFET and MOSFET.

2. Explain the construction working and characteristics of a n-channel JFET. Derive an expression for
saturation common drain of n-channel JEFT.

3. With a neat diagram explain the basic construction operation and characteristics of n-channel
depletion type MOSFET.
