OPENING PROGRAM INTRAMURALS 2024

Jaime:
Good morning, everyone!
Welcome to the Intramurals 2024! This is the day we’ve all been waiting for—the
beginning of a season filled with sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun! I’m Jaime,
and I’ll be your host for today’s event.

Mary Joy:
And I’m Mary Joy! We are so excited to be here with all of you to kick off what
promises to be an unforgettable week of friendly competition. Whether you're here
as a player or a supporter, you're all part of something truly special.

Jaime:
That's right, Ma’am Mary Joy. Today marks the start of an exciting journey, as
teams from all across the school will come together to compete, cheer, and create
memories that will last a lifetime.

Mary Joy:
We’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the hard work of everyone who made
this event possible—our organizing committee, the coaches, and all the volunteers.
Without them, we wouldn’t be here today. Let’s give them a round of applause!

Jaime:
And of course, let’s not forget the most important people here—the athletes!
You’ve trained hard for this moment, and we are so proud of each and every one of
you for showing up and giving your best. Let’s make sure we cheer for all of our
teams, no matter what happens.
Mary Joy:
Absolutely, Sir Jaime. Whether it’s the fierce competition on the court or the
exciting races on the field, today is all about fun, friendship, and fair play. We
encourage everyone to show respect, support one another, and keep the spirit of
sportsmanship alive throughout the entire tournament.

To start the program, let us thank God and seek for his guidance, may I call in
Ma’am ________________to lead us with a prayer to be followed by the singing
of National Anthem to be led by_______________. Please all stand.

Jaime:
Before we officially start, let’s have a few words from our school principal, who
has always been a big supporter of sports and student engagement. Please welcome
Dr. Conrado M. Bautista to the stage!

Mary Joy:
Thank you so much, Dr. Conrado M. Bautista ,for those inspiring words. Now, to
officially kick off our Intramurals 2024, we’ll begin with the lighting of the torch.
This is a symbolic tradition that marks the start of our journey to greatness!

Jaime:
Now, let's get ready to cheer, to compete, and to have some fun! We wish all the
teams the best of luck, and we can't wait to see you in action. Enjoy the games,
everyone!

Mary Joy:
Let the Intramurals begin! Have a great day, and may the best team win!
