ADMISSIONS INTO NEWLY APPROVED UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES IN THE UNIVERSITY

Applica ons are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following
recently approved Departments in the School of Logis cs and Innova on Technology for the 2023/2024
Academic Session:

DEPT./PROGRAMME

1. B.Tech. in Securi es and Investments Management Technology

SSCE SUBJECTS

Five SSCE credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) si ngs in the following subjects:
English Language, Mathema cs, Economics and any one (1) subject from Physics, Chemistry and
Biology/Agricultural Science, and one (1) other subject from Accoun ng, Geography and Government.

UTME SUBJECTS

English Language, Mathema cs, Economics and any one (1) subject from Physics, Chemistry, Accoun ng,
Geography and Government.

2. B.Tech. in Business Informa on Technology

SSCE SUBJECTS

Five SSCE credit passes or its equivalent at a maximum of two (2) si ngs in the following subjects:
English Language and Mathema cs, two (2) subjects from Geography, Chemistry, Biology/Agric. Science,
Food and Nutri on, Physics and any one (1) subject from Economics, Business Methods, Commerce,
Accoun ng, Book keeping, Government and Home Economics.
UTME SUBJECTS

English Language, Mathema cs, Economics and one of Geography, Chemistry, Accoun ng, Government
and Physics.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2023 Unified Ter ary Matricula on Examina on
(UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matricula on Board (JAMB) are eligible irrespec ve of
their most preferred choice ins tu on. Candidates who have been offered admission in any other
ins tu on and have accepted need NOT apply.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to:

(a) change their ins tu ons of choice to FUTA (if they have not done so)

(b) ensure eligibility for Post-UTME by:

i. checking the University’s website (www.futa.edu.ng) for the admission requirements and mode of
payment for the applica on;

ii. comple ng and submi ng the University Post-UTME Applica on Form online; and

iii. Submi ng their O' level results online.

CLOSING DATE

The closing date for payment, comple on and submission of the applica on form online is Friday, 2nd
February, 2024.
