Class profile
10 students at elementary level.

Timetable fit
Example: students have already worked on simple descriptions of personality,
different types of friends and leisure activities.

Main aims
By the end of the lesson I want my students to:
-extend range of vocabulary for describing people’s personality.
-to be able to describe themselves, members of their family and their friends.
-to be able to rank qualities by negative and positive.
-to be able to make negative forms of adjectives from the positive ones.

Subsidiary aims
Learners need to be able to:
-use appropriate language for basic personal descriptions.
-use prefixes

Personal aims
- work effectively with new vocabulary.
-provide students with effective controlled practice.
-work effectively with prompts for speaking activities.

Assumptions
Students already:
-can use present simple to talk about facts and habits.
-know the adverbs of frequency and how to use them correctly.

Anticipated problems
Pronunciation Issues: Difficulties in pronouncing new words can lead to
frustration and reluctance to participate.

Homework
As the homework student need to complete the cross-word with new
adjectives. They have a definition and they need to come up with the correct
adjective. It has a focus on accuracy, because to complete the crossword
correctly you need to write the correct form of the word. The second task will
be to make up sentences with 3 new favorite adjectives.
