bags, static shielding bags and moisture barrier bags come in a range of sizes for the
safe handling and packaging of electronic components that are sensitive to electrostatic

cards to desiccants are suitable for storage and transport to ensure that
all contents inside moisture barrier bags are kept dry and moisture free.

Desiccants
Desiccants are ideal for protecting packaging and enclosure
contents that are susceptible to damage from moisture such as
electronic components. They have an absorption performance
suited to a wide range of product types, environments and humidity
levels.

The addition of Humidity Indicator Cards (HIC) allow a visual check

of the humidity levels inside enclosures or packaged items. This
also gives a fast evaluation of the desiccants performance.

Clay Silica Gel

Moisture Sensitive Device Label

These blue, self-adhesive caution labels can be used to indicate that the
enclosed product is sensitive to moisture. They meet with IPC/JEDEC
J-STD-033 standard and can be used as part of your moisture barrier
packaging programme.

Humidity Indicator Cards

Humidity Indicator Cards (HICs) provide a low-cost method of indicating humidity conditions inside a moisture barrier bag
after vacuum packaging. The indicator spots on the HIC’s change colour as the humidity increases and decreases.

In order to constantly verify that dry packaging methods are not compromised during storage and transport of these
products, humidity indicator cards allow users along the supply chain to monitor the package conditions. Indicator spots
change after exposure to the relevant relative humidity conditions. The cards are reversible and change as conditions
vary in the packaging environment, allowing users to monitor the condition of product packaging.
