Dear hiring manager,

I am writing to express my interest as a Software Engineering intern in Wikimedia


Foundation . I recently graduated as a Software developer in the 3 million
techology training program for Nigerian youths where i was attached to SAIL
INNOVATION LAB Learning cluster in Lagos, Nigeria.
During the time of the training, I had the opportunity to attend online and
physical classes in html,css,javascript,nodejs,mongoDB,building Api's, express
server and other software development kits. Before this training, i have conpleted
a 6 months Remote training on Back-end development using PHP and MYSQL and Front-
end andriod and iOS App development using Dart programming language u der Flutter
at Aqskill Academy, Lagos, Nigeira.
I am excited about possibly bringing that experience to your team.
What excites me most about this internship program is the opportunity to work with
dedicated mentors and manager, where i will learn the inner workings of your open
source code that helps to create “a world in which everyone can freely share in the
sum of all knowledge” and i will be able to work with software that serves over
half a billion page views per day through Wikipedia.
I know that my energy and dedication will make me a valuable addition to your team.
