PLANNED PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (PPM)

Equipment : Sliding Door F‐MFM‐001‐150‐00

INDEX TASK DESCRIPTION FREQUENCY

GENERAL TASKS – All Areas of Sliding Door

1. Check and ensure that door will activate from a range of approximately one (1) meter Quarterly

2. Check and ensure that sensor range and sensitivity are within acceptable limits Quarterly

3. Check and ensure that there’s no distraction/obstruction in the vicinity of the door Quarterly

4. Check and ensure that door has no tripping or slipping hazards Quarterly

5. Check and ensure that moving door leaf will avoid contact with the person using the door Quarterly

6. Check and ensure that door brakes are operating correctly Quarterly

7. Check and ensure that all wiring termination is secured and terminated correctly Quarterly
Check and ensure that motor/gear box and bearings are in good condition, replace as
8. Quarterly

9. Check and ensure that all safety devices are functioning correctly Quarterly

10. Check fuses on the door power, replace as required Quarterly

11. Check track wheels, replace as required Quarterly


Carry out inspection on the exterior caulking around the outer edges of the window frame,

rectify any defects
13. Carry out inspection on all door panels, rectify any broken or cut glass Quarterly

14. Carry out lubrication of chain/belt drives Quarterly

15. Carry out fire mode testing and ensure that all doors will open Quarterly

General Instructions:

 This document is to be read in conjunction with SFG‐20 standard tasks. The document is only provided as a guide
to the standard, level and specification to which we expect the maintenance for this service to be executed and
managed
 The contractor shall ensure that all activities are carried out as per the manufacturer’s recommendations and
standards if not available within required tasks
 The contractor shall ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a timely and professional manner by
qualified technicians
 The contractor shall submit written reports after each PPM visit listing all activities performed, any faults
observed and any remedial actions taken. The report should also include all readings taken during PPM activity
 The contractor shall be responsible for full compliance with local authority rules and regulations
 All service providers/contractors shall comply with Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines
 After work has been completed, plant, equipment, and surroundings should be cleaned and made safe
