l.Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson with 75% accuracy, the pupils will be able to:
A. Use the articles "a" and "an" appropriately.
B. Share the importance of appropriate use of "a" and "an" in describing objects around
them in complete sentences
C. Write the answer between "a" and "an.”
2. Greetings
The teacher will ask the students how they are feeling, encouraging them to use "a" or
"an" in their response.
3. Attendance
The teacher will check the attendance, and instead of saying “present,” the pupils will
respond with a sentence using “a” or “an” to describe their mood.
4. Review
The teacher will shortly recall the discussion from the last meeting which is about the
Nouns and ask some questions regarding it.
5. Motivation
The teacher will divide the class into five groups. Each group will decide whether to use
'A' or 'An' before a given word. A representative from each group will share their answer
to the class.

1. Presentation
The teacher will introduce the topic of articles, focusing on "a" and "an” and their uses.The
teacher will write the definitions on the board along with the representation and the teacher will
show flashcards with images of an object.
The teacher will encourage students to explain their reasoning for each categorization.The
teacher discusses common misconceptions, such as words that start with a vowel letter but
have a consonant sound.

2. Can you think of a word that starts with a consonant letter but sounds like it starts with a
vowel?”

6. Ask students to look around the classroom and name objects using "a" or "an."

3. Generalization
The teacher recaps the rules for using "a" and "an." And Emphasize that the choice depends on
the sound that follows the article and summarize the topic.

Application
Directions: Distribute blank bingo cards. Fill in squares with words needing "a" or "an." Listen to
the caller, mark words on your card. First to complete a line shouts "Bingo!" and wins.
Remember: sound matters, not just the first letter.
Mechanics:
1. Distribute blank bingo cards to each student.
2. Have students fill in the squares with words that require either "a" or "an."
3. The teacher or a designated caller will call out words one by one.
4. Students mark the corresponding word on their card with a marker or a bingo chip.
5. The first student to mark a complete row, column, or diagonal line shouts "Bingo!"
