The following DTC (intermittent/static) is logged in the BCM -J519- (diagnostic address 0009):
• B1248F3 Electrical Steering Column Lock - terminal release, implausible (Symptom code 1074443).

Technical Background
Software issue in control unit for Electronic steering column lock -J764- (diagnostic address 002B).

Production Solution
Not applicable.

Service
Replace the control unit for Electronic steering column lock -J764- (diagnostic address 002B).
