Statement of Purpose

Introduction
I am Lovepreet Singh S/O, Mr Kamaljeet Singh and Mrs Harjeet Kaur, hailing from the village
Govindpur farm, Lakhimpur Kheri district of the Indian state Uttar Pradesh where we have a
blooming family business. I was born on January 19, 2001, and my Passport number is
V2696740. I completed my high school examination in 2019 at " St. James Mission School,
Lucknow ", which is affiliated with the ICSE Board, and passed with 89.5 %. After that, I
completed my Senior Secondary education in 2021 at "St. James Mission School, Lucknow"
with 93.6% marks. Since childhood, I have had a keen interest in my family business and now
want to pursue studies in business in Australia. I am a student in the commerce stream, in which
I have subjects (Economics, Commerce, and Accounts) in which I achieved 93.6% marks in my
senior secondary examination. Now I want to learn about businesses to start my career in the
business sector. After my schooling, I started preparing for the IELTS for further studies after
my bachelor's. I gave IELTS exam on November 27, 2021, and scored 7.0 bands overall with
individual band scores as below:
Listening- 8.5
Reading- 7.0
Writing- 7.0
Speaking- 6.0
Why not India?
In India, students' grades are used to determine talent. It is not unusual to regard a student who
earns more than 90% of the marks as "bright," while those who get less than 90% are seen as
"weaklings" with no future. The curriculum devised by our colonial overlords has remained
primarily unchanged throughout time, with an overemphasis on grades rather than overall
growth. Academic information is handed down via generations of pupils. Furthermore, 90% of
education is theoretical, with just a smattering of opportunities for children to engage in actual
learning and research. There is no room for creative learning and thought, and pupils are
constantly constrained by a prescribed course and are not encouraged to explore their
surroundings. India's educational system is very dull, with an utter shortage of movement and
adaptability. Students are often exposed to long lecture hours, the value of which is highly
debatable. In such circumstances, an engaging form of instruction benefits students and elicits a
genuine curiosity in them to study the topic in novel ways.
Although the curriculum needs revision, instructors and teaching techniques require a complete
overhaul. Our instructional techniques are antiquated. We continue to educate only using a
chalkboard and chalk. While there has been a surge of conversion to e-learning, it has occurred
in a relatively tiny percentage. Not only is our method of instruction ineffective, but so are our
instructors. The school should improve their knowledge of modern teaching techniques and
adapt their methods to the needs of flexible e-learning teaching environments. E-learning may be
a kind of creative learning, but only when it is used in conjunction with a qualified instructor.
Combining an excellent instructor with an excellent agile learning process, we can achieve
incredible things. Clapping always requires two hands.
Why Australia?
Australia is a fascinating place to visit because of its wide range of cultures and scenery. There is
a large and growing tourist industry in one of the most developed economies in the world.
International students in Australia have access to an education of the highest calibre. Natural
beauty aside, Australia is the most urbanised country in the world. Australian institutions are
among the best for obtaining a master's degree in education because of the high quality of their
curriculum and facilities. When deciding where to study abroad, factors such as the educational
system, cost of living, climate, and cost of the programme were all critical factors to weigh in the
decision-making process. In Australia, there are several prominent thinkers. Australian scientists
have won a significant number of Nobel Prizes. Most of the world's population depends on
Australian innovations and discoveries. US scientists created the Bionic Ear and Black Box
Flight Recorders. Thanks to the generosity of the Australian Government, Indian student
researchers may take advantage of free lab space, professional assistance, and a slew of other
resources.
The high standard of living in Australia's major cities is attracting an increasing number of
prospective college students worldwide. With a solid network of technologically advanced
transportation, Australia's quality of life is unrivalled by any other region. There is a 20-hour per
week limit for Indian students during the workweek and a 40-hour limit on weekends. Students
in Australia's educational system can get valuable work experience and study in an enjoyable
environment. Australia's educational system places a higher value on research and practical
experience. The Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS ACT) framework codifies best
practices for overseas students in Australia. When I hear from other students at my institution
who have gone on to study abroad, it gives me hope and inspiration. If I can inspire other
students and professionals in my country to follow in my footsteps, it would be an outstanding
achievement for me and my country's educational system.
Why not any other country?
Australia's educational system is unique from that of other nations. The Australian Qualifications
Framework (AQF) was created to make it simpler for individuals to go from one certification to
the next. Governments may define certification levels accurately and award comparable degrees
that students can use throughout the country using this highly regulated but easy-to-understand
system. The fact that the AQF provides students with a broad choice of career opportunities is
one of its most essential features.
Australia ranks third internationally in terms of education, offering individuals world-class
learning and a wide range of career opportunities. Employers throughout the world value
Australian degrees. Although the Legatum Prosperity Index ranks Australia as the least
prosperous country globally, it has become one of the most popular destinations for students and
immigrants. Located in the sixth-largest country globally, Australia is known for its natural
beauty and stable economy. Students worldwide flock to America's colleges and universities
because they provide unrivalled educational and job opportunities and an unsurpassed campus
atmosphere. For their unique teaching approaches, Australian institutions are recognised across
the globe. It is impossible to deny that Australia is a fantastic location to go to school and live in
general.
Why Australian Vocational Education & Training Academy (AVETA)?
Vocational education and training are provided at Melbourne's well-known College Institute of
the Australian Vocational Education and Training Academy (AVETA). It is a cutting-edge
educational facility that opened its doors in 2000. AVETA, a private school, offers art, science,
engineering, and law degrees. We want to help individuals improve their performance and
practice behaviour by providing them with a high-quality education. Training programmes and
research and extension initiatives are used to achieve this goal.
Students may use the many public transit alternatives because of the Academy's proximity to
Melbourne's central business area and other suburbs. The College has built a state-of-the-art
facility for students to learn culinary skills. AVETA is recognised for offering students world-
class training that prepares them for worldwide success in their chosen area. Students who
complete vocational training are more equipped for the job market in Australia's ever-changing
economic landscape. AVETA's courses are an essential part of Australia's nationally recognised
education and training infrastructure. Because of this, graduates have a better chance of landing a
job when they complete their programmes. To make this commitment feasible, members of the
AVETA team draw on decades of expertise and a shared commitment to providing students with
the best educational experiences imaginable. Highly skilled and experienced professionals make
up a large part of this company's workforce. Students at AVETA enjoy a caring and supportive
environment thanks to a diversified team. AVETA encourages students to work together with
faculty members to reach our educational aims and objectives. AVT's Trainers help students
improve their language, literacy, and numeracy skills while also tailoring their instruction to fit
the specific requirements of each student.
Aside from these modern conveniences, the AVETA campus has many facilities, including
completely air-conditioned classrooms and cutting-edge technology. A computer lab is also
available to pupils as an extra resource.
Why Diploma in Business?
Due to the ease with which different departments may work independently, I decided to pursue
this degree. A business training will bring together all of my executives and keep my employees
engaged. Managers from various businesses will be able to meet and discuss how to promote one
another better. As a result, I will better understand what I aim for and how I plan to get there.
Knowing the goals of other departments will let me put my whole energy into the bigger vision.
Taking a business course will teach me the ins and outs of putting together a team that can
produce results. As a business student, I will learn why new goods, procedures, or other changes
are implemented. I will be better positioned to persuade my coworkers of the need for change
after that. As a result, they know what I should expect and why it might have a significant impact
on the success of the organisational change. When I learn a new skill, it is a win-win scenario. It
shows that I have the drive and ambition to succeed in my career. A wide range of tasks and
professions are now open to you. My company will be more productive now that I have my
diploma in business under my belt. As a result, I expect to learn a lot about improving my
company's productivity by using tried-and-true methods and processes.
Why Advanced Diploma in Business?
The Advanced Diploma in Company is intended for executives, managers, and supervisors who
wish to expand their understanding of company operations. In the Advanced Diploma in
Company, you will learn how to effectively manage your money, create and run a business,
examine digital plans, and build and implement strategies for growth and quality. In addition to
providing essential business principles, this programme may lead to a university degree. When it
comes to advertising, human resources, economics, and risk assessment, I will be able to utilise
everything I have learned so far from my previous diploma in business to get this Advanced
Diploma in Business. With the Advanced Diploma in Business, I may earn honours credit toward
a Business, Management, or Marketing degree even before graduating high school. As an
alternative, I could speed up earning either a Bachelor's or an MBA. To be eligible for the
advanced course, I must complete my diploma. Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is
possible while building a solid foundation for my professional future.
Future Plans
My goal is to graduate from AVETA's Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Management
programme with a thorough grasp of business and financial concepts and a wide range of
practical skills and work experience. There are several opportunities for work in different areas,
such as public, commercial, and non-profit sectors. Completing the business courses will allow
me to be eligible and prepared for these positions. Long-term, though, I want to be the head of
my firm, where I can give jobs to the unemployed in my nation. Many young people in India
seek work since they are well educated and talented. However, due to a lack of employment
opportunities, many individuals are forced to accept less than they would want. In order to
overcome this issue, we need more individuals to come up with ideas for producing jobs instead
of just going out and hunting for one. I want to use everything I have learned in the classroom
and during my internship at AVETA to create my own company in India so that I may do
something about the high rate of unemployment there.
To be successful in business, you need to put in the time and effort and learn about the market
conditions. Various teams work together to ensure that projects are finished on time and within
budget by planning and managing resources, people, and tasks. A company's success depends on
its ability to understand its customers' goals. It is also essential to evaluate the project's
performance in contrast to the client's expectations to learn from any missteps. After finishing
my Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Business at AVETA, I want to put all of the knowledge I
have gained here to good use by starting a business in my home country.
Financial and Family Tie-Ups
My family is very close to my heart as it always stands by my side in the toughest of times. They
are all very supportive and also financing my studies abroad. I love my family, and it will be
tough for me to stay away from them throughout my course duration. Academics are equally
crucial as spending time with my family. Thus I need to go to Australia to finish my studies. As
soon as I return to India, I will start a company to help improve the country's employment
conditions for future generations.
VISA Conditions
The Australian Government sets visa requirements, which are the visa regulations. The
Department of Home Affairs (Home Affairs) has the power to revoke my visa if I violate the
terms of my visa, and I am aware of this. Listed below are the terms and conditions:
 In order to pass my class at the university, I need to be in attendance at least eighty per
cent of the time.
 As soon as I move, I will notify the University of my New Location.
 Only the allotted amount of hours will be worked by me (i.e. 20 hours per week).
 Overseas student health insurance is something I will make sure to have.
 A person who is not engaged in any unlawful or unethical behaviour.
