Designing, &Valuation of Residential, Commercial, Industrial Buildings

Executive Summary

I Dr. Rajwinder Singh Bansal, am presently working as Head of Civil Engineering


Department and officiating Principal I.T.C., Phagwara. I have done my graduation in Civil
Engineering from Institute of Engineer, Calcutta, & Master’s degree from DAVIET
Jalandhar& PhD from O.P.J.S. university.
I have 24 years of professional experience and 103 years of teaching experience at both
undergraduate and post graduate level. My major research interests are in the area of
structural engineering particularly in structural failure and rehabilitation of structures,
structural reliability, high performance concrete, and steel and reinforced concrete design. I
have wide experience in structural design of diverse types of structures in structural steel
and reinforced concrete.
I have published five papers in archival referred journals and have done review of a number
of research papers. I have prepared excel sheets to be used for preparing Estimate, Valuation
and Design of structure components which are being used by a number of Architects and
Engineers. I am fellow/ member of numerous professional bodies and President Council of
Engineers & Valuers .
