How Plastic Bottles Are Recycled
How Plastic Bottles Are Recycled
From
an overall perspective, it is evident that there are nine stages in the whole plastic waste
reprocessing, beginning with collecting bottles and ending with producing new items.
The process begins with transporting plastic bottles by rubbish collection truck, which are
put in the trash bin. They are then put in a roller in at the recycling center to divide be
divided into two types: recyclable and non-recyclable plastic. After being pressed into
blocks, they go through a crusher and become smaller pieces. At this step, these pieces
are rinsed out of with water.
After that, a machine receives pieces to create plastic pellets. They continue to be heated
so that raw materials can be formed. The materials are stored and used for making several
products, such as bags, pencils, T-shirts or containers. The process repeats itself again
when plastic bottles are thrown away.
