WIREWIZARD-

THE ARDUINO CHALLENEGE

RULEBOOK
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The theme of this Hackathon is to build
Solutions which can help the Healthcare, IoT and
Automation Industry, using Arduino and sensors
of your choice.

INTRODUCTION:
WireWizard is an Arduino hardware competition
that will provide the opportunity for the
participants to apply their knowledge and
techniques to solve day-to-day life problems
related to-
Healthcare
IoT
Automation
or even a mix of the above categories…

by designing circuits using Arduino and various


other sensors of your choice.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participation is open to student teams (one
to four students) from anywhere across the
world.
Only students are allowed to partcipate in
this competition.

TEAM SPECIFICATION:
Construct a team of a minimum of 1 and a
maximum of 4 members

TEAM NAME
Every team must have an appropriate name.
The team's name can’t be changed once
submitted.
TEAM REPRESENTATIVE
Each team must specify their Team
Representative /Leader) at the time of
registration on the Website/App/Unstop.
All important communications between
event organisers and the registered teams
will be done through their team
representatives.
The team representatives must submit valid
contact details (mobile no., email id etc.) at
the time of the registration.
Team Representative must submit details
about college of every participant (if
applicable).

EVENT DETAILS
Submission of project report = 16th January
(23:59 IST)
Late submissions will also be accepted but
with a 5% penalty
Offline presentation = 17th-19th January in
person, at IIT Jodhpur
EVENT STRUCTURE
Mode - Offline at IIT Jodhpur.

Online Submissions - Online submissions should


be made before the offline which should include
a report which contains (the weightage of the
online submission would be conveyed soon ) -

1. Ideation: A project report (should be in pdf


format) describing step by step how to build the
solution-
Description of the issue and how the project
solves it.
Detailed technical description of the
solution.
Hardware and Software components used
Step by step user guide
Tinkercad model (optional) submission will
give bonus points
2. The teams which submit a genuine report
will be called to IIT Jodhpur and will have to
present their hardware project to our panel
JUDGING CRITERIA
Judging Criteria :

A panel of judges will validate the submitted project


proposals to ensure they satisfy this Hackathon's
objectives.

Criteria for evaluation include:


Innovative Scenarios
Quality of the deliverables
Quality of the demo
Team’s ability to build a creative application that
supports the motive of the problem statement

Remark – Judging Criteria are subject to slight


change

All decisions taken by the organizing team will be


deemed as final, and no more changes will be
encouraged, thus holding the full authority to change
any of the above rules as per circumstances
FEW IMPORTANT POINTS
Participants would have to report to IIT Jodhpur
for the final offline round to present their
hardware solution.

Participants should bring their own hardware


components including arduino , sensors etc. IIT
Jodhpur would not be responsible for providing
these components to the teams.

The online submission round is a qualifying round


i.e the teams who submit a genuine report ,only
those team will be eligible for the final offline
round .

The report should be in pdf format and should


contain all the necessary points mentioned above
