Introduction
Aviation Management is one of the most cherished profession in the world. Today
people want to get themselves established in this sector. Now-a-days airline sector is
growing in our country at about 20% every year. 36 foreign and 12 domestic airlines
are now operating in our country. They need skilled manpower to run their
organization efficiently.

Objective
The course in Aviation Management is designed for the students for managerial and
business-related positions within the constantly evolving aviation and aerospace
industries. This program ensures that employers will consider you for variety of
positions including financial analyst, flight coordinator, market analyst, airport
operations specialist, and strategic planner.

Course Outline

You'll gain a strong foundation in business and a specific concentration in Airport


Management. It will emphasize communication, quantitative skills, social duty and
ethics. It will also enhance knowledge on ICT, global marketplace responsiveness,
critical thinking, decision-making, environmental knowledge, teamwork dynamism
and aviation/aerospace familiarity.

COURSE STRUCTURE

& practice negotiation skills.

• Passenger handling and customer care management


• Make appropriate travel arrangements and reservations
• Passenger ticket checking, access baggage ticket issue
• Complete international travel documents in accordance with the applicable
IATA rules and procedures
• Answer customers' queries, quote rates and supplements, explain conditions
and book tour products
• Acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure that your front-line
contact with the customer is outstanding
• Understand the role of information technology - Global Distribution
Systems and the Internet
• Safety and quality management system

• Demonstrate skill in passenger handling and special care
• Demonstrate skill in cargo loading and flight departure procedures
• Demonstrate skill in marketing management of aviation
