WET TEST
Preparation of Na2CO3 Extract.
It is prepared in case of water insoluble
coloured salt. To a small amount of the salt, twice the amount
of Na2CO3 is added followed by 20-30ml of distilled water. The
solution is boiled for 10-15 minutes, cooled and filtered. This
filtrate is known as Na2CO3 Extract. All wet tests are performed
using this extract

Preparation of water Extract.

shake well. This solution is known as water extract. All web test
are performed using this extract
