Dear Ma’am:

Good day.

I am writing this to express my desire to serve as a secondary teacher in your


institution. I have just achieved my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education at
Central Bicol State University of Agriculture-Sipocot, major in Filipino, I passed the
Licensure Examination for Teachers last December 2019.

I had my first year of Teaching at Lyceo de Pasacao, in Pasacao Camarines Sur as a


Junior and Senior High School Teacher from May 14 2019 to April 14 2020. I handled
Filipino subjects from Grade 8 to Grade 11. In my first year of teaching, I have
accumulated necessary skills that a teacher should possess, I’ve also handled different
organizations such as Students Government Organization, SAMFIL, D’Trench (school
publication).
I had my second year of Teaching at King Thomas Learning Academy Inc. in
Malubago, Sipocot Camarines Sur. I handled Filipino subjects for Grade 11 students
and Practical Research 2 for Grade 12 students. My second year in teaching field was
not that common, I teach in the midst of this pandemic and faced the New Normal
teaching, I tried using different strategies just to cope up with the changes in education
specially using Learning Portals such as Visual Learning Portals, Google Sweets, V-
Smart by Vibal and Module Making, with these experiences I got the chance to develop
my teaching skills not only inside but also outside of the classroom. This has given me
the opportunity to deeply understand my students which make me realized how I loved
this profession. I believe that your school would give me the opportunity to learn more
things in my chosen field and that it would hone my teaching skills further.
As an educator of the 21st century, I believe that I am not just about to develop learners
intellectually but also to develop and enhance their skills convoyed with manners as
they go along the process of education.

I am willing to undergo and to be trained in a series of workshops and lectures if you


may ask me to do so. Likewise, attend interview and demonstration teaching any time at
your convenient time. I know that your institution can give me an opportunity to continue
and develop myself professionally, to put into practice my skills and share to the
students of your institution the things I strongly believe in.
