marks available and Part B carries 60%.

Candidates should attempt all EIGHT questions

Define the term computer network and state the benefits of using computer network

Distinguish between system software and application software 5 marks

Question A5

What is URL and briefly explain the four main parts of URL 5 marks

Question A6

Briefly explain the meaning of Netiquette in the use of Internet and state
four rules of Netiquette 5 marks

Explain the following terms: Honeypot, portal, search engine, website and
web page 5 marks

Name and explain the three common e-commerce modes 5 marks

PART B
Candidates should attempt all THREE questions only. Clearly cross out ‘surplus answers;
failure to do so will result in the first 3 answers being marked.
