1) Amazon India may launch quick


commerce service codenamed Tez in
December or early next year.
Currently, Zepto, Zomato's Blinkit, and Swiggy's Instamart dominate the
sector making gross sales of about $5.5-6 billion just this month alone
Amazon India will launch its quick commerce service named Tez by late
December or early next year as it is set to join the booming sector,
according to an Economic Times report.

2) Railway stocks like RVNL, IRFC, and

IRCON are rising today.

Railway PSU stocks including Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), RailTel
Corporation of India, RITES Ltd, IRCON International Ltd, and Indian
Railway Finance Corporation Ltd (IRFC ) saw their share prices rising up to
10% on Monday, November 25, 2024.

offering.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially forayed into EV
two-wheelers in India as it launched the electric version of its iconic
Activa scooter called the Activa e on Wednesday, along with another
model called the QC1.

India's Adani Group conglomerate said Wednesday it had suffered a


staggering loss of nearly $55 billion since US corruption charges against
top officials, accusations the company denies.

5) Campa triggers price war in cola market


The brand's disruptive pricing has beverage giants PepsiCo and Coca-Cola
on tenterhooks. Campa Cola has priced its 200 ml bottles at Rs 10, lower
than Coca-Cola and PepsiCo's pricing of Rs 20 for 250 ml (comparison only
for PET bottles as Campa has those). For almost all pack sizes, Campa Cola
is offering lower rate to consumers with a differential of Rs 10-20. Coca-
Cola and PepsiCo have not slashed prices of their products as of now but
are deploying other tactical measures on the ground, distributors of the
brands in parts of South and East India told TOI. Coca-Cola, for instance, is
working towards giving better margins to retailers in parts of markets like
Kerala.

to the NSE circular, Zomato, Jio Financial Services, and Avenue

Supermarts (DMart)were among the notable entrants.

5) Silver prices crash yet again, slip back to


Rs 90,000-mark
Silver prices plunged to a three-week low, dropping ₹4,900 to ₹90,900
per kg, while gold declined ₹100 to ₹78,700 per 10 grams in the national
capital on Thursday amid heavy selling by stockists and retailers,
according to the All India Sarafa Association. Gold with 99.5% purity also
fell by ₹400 to ₹78,300 per 10 grams.
