perusahaan, ya. Bisa jadi sama, tapi bisa juga kamu
punya inisiatif lain.
Highlight skill dan kemampuan mengambil keputusan
kamu yang ngebuat pekerjaan itu berhasil.

RESULT
Apa hasil akhirnya. Kalau bisa diceritakan memakai
angka, lebih bagus. Kalaupun sifatnya kualitatif,

DEAL WITH A DIFFICULT SITUATION?
SITUATION

2 years ago I was working as a new project leader. I was in charge of


communicating with multiple stakeholders, The project’s deadline was in
3 months and we faced a dead-end. There was a problem with the
outsourced tasks from our 3rd party company so we couldn’t meet the
target.

My manager told me to reassess the situation and called the stakeholders


to explain. However, they couldn’t accept late deliveries. They told me if I

could not make it happen, they’d cut the contract with the company. This
would mean a big loss for our revenue.

I took the initiative to better understand the problem with our 3rd party
company, visited their office and talked with their leaders. It was not to

negotiate, but to offer support. We arranged a focused BootCamp to


resolve the issue and how to reach the deadline. I led this BootCamp with
2 people from our company and 3 from theirs.
RESULT

The BootCamp required a bit of extra cost, but we successfully dealt with
the problem. The initiative was hugely appreciated by my team leader and
kept the positive reputation of our company.
