Lesson Outline
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
- Explain Boyles Law and the inverse relationship between gas pressure an

- Apply Boyles Law to make predictions about real-life scenarios involving
ANALYSING GAS LAW
Background knowledge Pressure of a gas is the force per unit area that the gas enters on surface.
Pressure is measured in pastels (Pa), Where 1Pa = 1 Nm⁻² . The pressure of a
gas depends on its temperature, the volume of the gas container and on the
mass of the gas in the container.
Experiment 1 - Aim Investigate how pressure changes with volume, by keeping the number of
particles and temperature constant. (Boyle’s Law)
