DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTANCY
Course Aims
1
Teaching and Learning Activities (TLAs)
This course consists of a 2-hour lecture and a 1-hour tutorial per week.
Students should attend both lecture and tutorial. Lectures introduce the
main topics each week and provide students with the chance to start
working on practical questions relevant to each topic. Students are
responsible for having completed the reading assignments prior to
attending lectures each week. Tutorials provide students with a more
detailed understanding about how to complete both theoretical and
practical questions about each topic area. Students are responsible for
attempting all exercise questions prior to attending tutorial classes each
week. Questions indicated with “*” will be discussed in the tutorial
classes. Other questions may or may not be discussed in the tutorial
classes depending on time. Suggested answers to all exercise questions
will be released on the Canvas site weekly after all tutorial classes have
been held. Please refer to the Teaching Schedule on the last page for the
full list of exercise questions and weekly coverage of topics.
Should you have any questions or problems regarding the answers to the
exercise questions, please contact your respective tutors via email to
arrange a meeting.
