Observe the orientation of the battery contact before removing. 3. Remove: + 3 screws + Battery contact To Install 1 Install: + The new battery contact in the correct orientation 3 screws + 3 screws—use torque wrench, TLE516, to tighten to 40 o-in * Plate + 8 screws—use torque wrench, TL6516, to tighten to 40 oz-in. Postrequisites None Bumpers Prerequisites None To Remove 1 Remove: Labels * DRX-1/DRX-1C System Battery * Labels Detector iat cons finesip 2 Locate the bumper pins along the edge needle nose pliers of the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector. bumper Pes A Important You must pull straight up to remove the bumpers pins. 3 Use a fine-tip needle nose pliers to pull and remove all the bumper pins. 4 Remove all the bumpers. Bumpers To Install 1 Install the new bumpers. 2 Insert the bumper pins into the holes. 3 Use a T-hex drive to push the bumper Thex di Ise 3 ° rex ore pins into a fully seated position. Bumper Pins Postrequisites None DRX-1 Label Prerequisites None To Remove B ioponane + You must follow this procedure when removing the label from the DRX-1/DRX-1C_ Detector. + Damage to the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector can occur if you incorrectly remove this label. + At the end of this procedure you must use the installation instructions to: — Install the new orientation sticker to the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector. — Calibrate the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector. 1 Place the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector on a flat work surface 2 Make a note of the orientation of the label so that the new label can be installed in the same orientation. 3. Lift one corner of the label. 4 Use tape to secure the corner of the label to the rod. 5 Place a slip sheet on the label. A Important * While rotating the rod, you must keep the rod in contact with the surface of the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector. + Damage to the DRX-1/DRX-1C Detector can occur if the label is pulled off in any way other then what is described in this procedure. 6 Rotate the rod back to remove the label with the slip sheet from the DRX-1/ DRX-1C Detector. 7 Remove from the rod: + slip sheet + old label To Install 1 Locate the new label. 2 Remove the backing sheet from 1/2 of the label. 3. To Install 1 Install the new hard drive. 2 Connect the 2 cables. 3 Rotate the DVD/hard drive assembly into the correct position. + Computer 5 Do the recovery instructions available on the Carestream Service Portal.
