Living Longer

As people live longer after retirement, they face individual challenges such as higher poverty rates and loneliness, while society grapples with increased financial burdens on public resources. Solutions include encouraging elderly individuals to live with their children and extending retirement ages to allow for part-time work. xa rời con cái -> reduce level of contentment among người già
societal level: exert burden on public economy -> nhận pension, và

kéo dài tuổi nghỉ hưu + suggest thêm 1 số cv part-time phù hợp với

To begin with, two main issues are associated with the way humans
prolong their lives. Firstly, on an individual level, if the elder live longer,
they might confront a precarious and lonely life as their children are
preoccupied working and taking care of their nuclear family. Therefore,
they might suffer loneliness during the rest of the time instead of
enjoying a wonderful life mentally and physically. Moreover, long life
spans might put financial additional on them since their savings could
not afford to pay for the ever-increasing healthcare costs and it could
lead to higher poverty rate among seniors. Secondly, in a society level,
elderly are entitled to have more care services as they are more prone
to chronic diseases such as Dementia and Alzheimer . Hence, a
considerable amount of money might be allocated for healthcare which
would lead to increased pressure on public finances. ( Band 7.0 )

Regarding those problems, the most obvious solution is for the

government to tackle these problems as much as possible. For example,
they should launch a campaign for raising the elder awareness about
taking part in more society activities and pension schemes. By doing
this, the elderly might stand a high chance of making more friends and
doing more valuable activities for society and their life. A further step
for the government is that they should extend the retirement age. As a
result, older people will be able to contribute more which would help to
reduce financial burden on societies and the government can utilize this
money for various worthwhile activities. ( Band 6.0)

government to implement prompt/imperative measures. For example,
they should launch diverse campaigns for raising awareness among the

schemes. By doing this, the elderly might stand a high chance of
improving their social circle and doing more valuable activities for
society and their life. A further step for the government is that they

on societies and create increasing values for other worthwhile
activities in the community. 1 Band 7. 5)
