1. This Question paper contains five sections - A, B, C, D and E. Each section is compulsory.
However, there are internal choices in some questions.
2. Section A has 18 MCQs and 02 Assertion-Reason (A-R) based questions of 1 mark each.
Section B has 05 questions of 2 marks each. Section C has 06 questions of 3 marks each.
Section D has 04 questions of 5 marks each. Section E has 03 Case-study / Source-based /
Passage-based questions with sub-parts (with a total of 4 marks for each Case-study /
Source-based / Passage-based question).

36 Mr Shashi, who is an architect, designs a building for a small company. The design
of window on the ground floor is proposed to be different than other floors. The
window is in the shape of a rectangle which is surmounted by a semi-circular
opening. This window is having a perimeter of

37 For Republic Day Parade Fly past, Stunning bird's eye
visuals of the formations and the aircraft flying above the
clouds will be telecasted. Two aero planes leading the fly-
past flying one above the other need to maintain constant
distance between them and have to follow the path given

38 The members of a consulting firm rent cars from three rental agencies :

From past experience, it is known that 9% of the cars from agency X need a
service and tuning before renting, 12% of cars from agency Y need a service and
tuning before renting and 10% of the cars from agency Z need a service and tuning
before renting. Assume that the rental car delivered to the firm needs service and
tuning. For the information given above, answer the following.

i What is the probability that the car needs service and tuning? 2M
ii Find the probability that the cars need service and tuning, if it came from 2M
agency Z.
