• CHARACTER STYLE-A CHARACTER
STYLE IS A COLLECTION OF CHARACTER
FORMATTING ATTRIBUTES THAT YOU CAN APPLY
TO A SELECTED RANGE OF TEXT. A PARAGRAPH
STYLE INCLUDES BOTH CHARACTER AND
PARAGRAPH FORMATTING ATTRIBUTES. YOU
CAN APPLY IT TO A SELECTED PARAGRAPH OR A
RANGE OF PARAGRAPHS.

• FRAME STYLE-A CHARACTER STYLE IS A

• PAGE STYLE-Page Styles are how
libreoffice Writer controls the page layout
options. This includes determining which
elements should appear on each page (e.g.
Page numbers, headers, footers), where
they appear, the margins, and so on.
• LIST STYLE-Lists are something you use
every frequently in documents, and there
are good reasons to create styles for this
purpose. First, using a style gives you full
control very easily. You can set the amount
of indentation, the line spacing, the
numbering or characters used, etc.
• TABLE STYLE-Table styles are not styles
in the usual Writer sense. They are in
fact some internal macro calls which
“manually” build the table as you would
do it with menu, mouse and keyboard.
Consider they are templates for
“considered-frequent-case” table formats.
